Remembering a lovely lady who dedicated her heart and life to family and her community.

Frances was someone who loved to give.  As a loving wife, mum, grandma, sister, cousin and friend, she brought endless fun, energy and kindness to all those around her.  She also gave decades of voluntary service to our community with her hard work and dedication helping to strengthen community spirit in our town and make New Romney a better place to live.

Although Frances loved flowers and said she would be more than happy to have a send-off filled with blooms, she was also always thinking of others.  Before she passed away, she said she would also like to help raise funds to support Pilgrims Hospice.  She spent the last few weeks of her life being cared for by the dedicated team at Pilgrims in Ashford who went above and beyond to ensure she felt comfortable and safe.

Only 20% of Pilgrims Hospice funding comes from the NHS, meaning the remaining 80% has to come from donations and fundraising.  Our family is testament to how much support they provide - from complementary and talking therapies, help with pain control and even just a much-needed hug.

Please help us celebrate Frances' life and give back to the people who gave to us when we needed it most.

Thank you.
